But that's not all. Improving mental health is linked to physical health, so I need to diversify in my diet and exercise routines as well. I got stuck in a rut with the high protein and exercise program I was on for years, and you have to change that up to stay in shape. I'm hoping that the Beach Body on Demand app that Rick and I decided to gift ourselves with will help toward that goal. I am enjoying the programs, and it's good to have a wide variety to try. So far, so good with that initiative as well.
It's a lot, but necessary. For the first time in a couple of years, I finally feel like I have some goals and a sense of direction in taking better care of myself and expanding my writing. It's meant modifications to my daily routine as well, but they're changes that I'm happy with. It's nice to go to bed at night with a sense of progress on what I accomplished during the day. Or maybe I finally have eyes to see the progress taking place now.
I might be the only person who is tightening up their New Year's Resolutions in February. Most people have neglected them, or are looking to Lent to take the different approach on what to give up to get back on track. Well, whatever works, and this is working for me. It's good to be finding a new track, and to rediscover a path into this crazy new world we're in.
That's all today. Take care, and have a great week.
Bye!
