This year, I’m giving myself the gift of closure for my birthday. My birthday is a week away, but I'm celebrating early. My final pandemic project is done. Inversion, Book Four of The Sentience Series and the full version of The Sentience Series are published.
Not only that, but The Earthside Box Set is off KDP select and “goes wide” to all online outlets on August 26 as well. No Kindle? No problem! It's available at retailers here. I’m celebrating my 47th birthday with three releases. It’s time to let the past go and move on. It’s a new day, a new world, and a new way. I’m so happy that both of my sci-fi series will be available.
I’ve been in full publishing mode since July, and this will complete what I call my “expansion projects.” Now all of my fiction books formerly limited to Amazon are available widely, and my latest series is complete. If you’re keeping count, that means that I’ve released four books in the past month: A Christmas Proposal is available for pre-order on November 1, I released Zack’s Adventures a few weeks ago, and now The Sentience Series is complete.
I’m excited and happy, but I do believe a birthday and Labor Day break are in order before I resume work on short stories, articles, and Broken Time. It’s been a busy summer, but good. When I found that quote that said “don’t wish for it; work for it,” I took it to heart. I’ve been working, and will continue to do so. I love writing and will keep working toward building it up as much as I can.
Happy birthday to me. I think we need to give ourselves gifts sometimes, and my gift this year is closure. It’s time to let go of those old projects, revamp what needs a refresh, and move in bold faith toward the future.
