I know this illness has affected a lot of people. One thing I’ve been encouraged and humbled by is how people have been so supportive and helpful during this difficult time. Rick and I had to be caregivers for one another even while we ourselves were sick, but we did the best we could. Our parents were also a tremendous help driving us around, bringing meals, and keeping us company and encouraged with calls and texts.
My coworkers have also been excellent at stepping up while I’ve been knocked down. They worked hard to keep things flowing, so catching up after two weeks out of the office was much easier than I anticipated. I can’t thank them enough for all they did to carry the load while being down a person. I know that’s not easy, but they did willingly, and they did a great job.
I know I wasn’t active on social media or on this blog during my illness, but I do appreciate the prayers and well wishes from the couple of posts that I did manage to do during my illness.Prayers are powerful and helpful at all times. Never stop praying.
It’s amazing that my life is filled with so many great people. One thing I’ve noticed and appreciated is that I’m surrounded with a lot of support, and I fully appreciate it now. This illness didn’t just knock me out; it affected everybody around me as well. And yet, nobody complained. Everybody was shining with the light and love of the Lord to help us through. So to all of you, I say thank you. You are a true blessing, and your awesomeness really helped me through! I’m still in the healing process, but thanks be to God, I’m back on my feet and making it – thanks to His miracle healing and His work through you!
That’s all today. Take care. Have a Happy Friday tomorrow and a wonderful weekend.
Bye!
