So see, I'm not completely out of it! I'm getting practical things done. Which is good, because our social schedule is going to get pretty busy here soon, so we better take advantage of time to get things like cleaning and organizing done now.
We also got rid of another distraction - satellite TV. We cancelled our service Friday. That great price they gave us when we went to cancel last year was apparently a promotion, and it's been in the process of going away since January. The bill this month was actually more than it had been before, so we said heck with it. When we considered what we watch, the truth is that most of it is on local channels, which we get fine through a digital antenna. Plus, we have Apple TV, so we can get whole seasons of the shows cheaper than a monthly bill. And Netflix serves Rick's movie fix just fine. It's ridiculous how much they charge for TV. I think this is going to be similar to when we cancelled the landline phone - you're nervous at first until you figure out that you're better off without it.
When we clean out, we really go through everything, eh? Well, it's good to take stock every now and then to make sure that things are still working out for you the way you intended. If it isn't broke, don't fix it. If it's not working out like it used to, adjust. We'll see how this goes. So far, so good. We aren't having withdrawl symptoms yet, so that's a good sign.
That's all today. I hope you're all doing well. Have a great week.
Bye!
