Albeit under lots of water. I'm not sure if it's good or bad that I forgot all the rivers running through the state from 8th grade. Then again, the creeks are flooding too. The one about 6 miles away is running over. I'm glad we're on high ground, but there isn't any place we can go because it's all downhill from here!
So we're homebound. Keeping an eye on the weather and the news.Church was cancelled, and we're wondering about work now with so many roads flooded. My office is between 2 big rivers, both of which are nearly to the bridge going over them and with flooding reported in the area - we'll see. Plus, portions of the Interstate are closed. I'm glad we went to the store Friday. I went before work, and Rick went during his lunch break. We communicated by email, so we're well stocked. Family is good, too.
But we're here and watching the TV Anchors freak out. Scary to see. Keep South Carolina in your prayers. This rain is supposed to continue through tomorrow night.
In other news, the foot is healing. It's hurt this weekend with the rain, but nowhere near as bad as it was when I sprained and broke it a week ago. God bless Rick, he's helped so much! 1 week down, 5 to go. I'm supposed to go back to the orthopedic for a follow up tomorrow afternoon for a check on the healing progress.
