I'm on a roll these days! The Jesus cross-stitch won a second prize ribbon in the SC State Fair, and today I got a service recognition award from the Council of Landscape Architect Registration Boards (CLARB) for serving on the Member Board Executive committee. I rarely win things or get even recognition awards, so to get two in a week is overwhelming!
Darn, if only Fracture (Book 1 of The Earthside Trilogy) were read to enter in the Kindle Scout program! But alas, it's only halfway done, so I must be patient. So I decided to hopefully keep the wave of success rolling by signing up 4 of my books for a Christmas promotional campaign through Indie Tribe. I plan to feature Anywhere But Here, Move, Obsidian, and Splinter. The final quarter of the year is the biggest for book sales, so if you're doing promotion, now's the time to hit it.
I'm also working on holiday crafting projects. My hummingbird cross and morning glory cross stitch is going faster than expected, and tonight we're enjoying a Halloween movie marathon. I'm not a big fan of horror movies, but I like the Halloween movies for some reason. I also like The Shining. And, of course, Supernatural - their best episode was the Samhain one. Nothing like going to the root of the tradition to make a great story. I think that was season 3 or 4 - it was one of the early ones.
The weather is beautiful, and life is rolling in the right direction. Here's hoping that ball keeps rolling from good days to great days!
