Vacations help you to rest and realize things, though. If you ever want to know exactly how many moving parts there are in your life, go on a trip. It took me a week to shut everything down for us to be gone, and I’m still working on getting life resumed and back on track now. And I won't start on peoples' reactions to finding out that you aren't going to be available for a few days --
Still, it is good to be back. Vacations are nice, but living out of bags and sleeping in a strange bed and room gets old fast. I remember something a former colleague told me once: travel is good both ways. It’s good to see new places, but it also makes you appreciate home. That’s true.
Now back to life and reality with new energy and perspective. Here’s hoping I can make significant progress on my goal of doing better and creating the happy, balanced life I’m aiming for.
That’s all today. Take care, and have a great rest of the week.
Bye!
