After a 2023 of challenge with illness, circumstances, and struggles with anxiety disorder that required me to dig deep into facing truths about myself, my life, and my reality, I'm not messing around anymore. I'm tired of playing small and being stuck. It's time for me to quit poking life with a stick and start killing it. I'm tired of feeling the squeeze of things that don't fit anymore. It's past time to leave this desert of fear and move into the Promised Land of what the Lord wills for my life.
I'm not saying it's a failure. I see areas where I've done phenomenal: my marriage, my home and family life to be exact. I see growth in my faith walk, health and writing. This means that my vibration is high in the areas closest to my soul. Now I just need to step through the fear and raise my vibration in all of life. This is the goal now. To rise, to embrace what brings me joy, and to walk in obedience to specifically define what it meant for my life in this season.
I'm reading a book titled Get Anything You Want Without Worrying About How You'll Do It by Jennifer Blanchard. She encourages you to reflect on what you want in life in prayer and meditation, and exploring what's holding you back. What particularly inspires me is that her first recommended step is to define exactly what you want, pray about it, and let it go while you wait for inspired action to call to you. That's walking in fait h, and what I'm about. I want to do the Lord's will, but I also want to do my part. I highly recommend this book.
I also intend to live it starting today. Why wait for the new year? You can start anytime. You literally start new every morning, so why not? I'm meditating on what comes next, and raising my vibration. Now I challenge you to raise yours. Let go of the fear. Stand.
And before I go, I want to wish our sun conure, Zacchaeus (Zack) a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Our golden boy turns 24 years old on December 31. Happy Birthday, sunshine! You really bring us together and make us a "flock." We love you!
That's all today. Stay safe, and I wish you a blessed, joyful, prosperous, and Happy New Year!
Luv,
Me
