I also owe tremendous thanks to Rick, who's been a blessing and a big help. He did the majority of the work on the deck and utility shed, and really led those efforts to get our yard cleaned up and fixed up - finally, after nearly 10 years in the house! It looks great, and we're enjoying that deck every chance we get. He's also been a big help this week as I've been in "crunch time" at work, with keeping things moving around the house. He took up a lot to help me out, and I so appreciate that. He supported me with my writing too, by encouraging me and talking about my progress in a plot that got somewhat complicated. I'm still a bit worried that it could be confusing to readers but again, that's what rewrites and revisions are for, and those are "later" tasks.
Thanks also to our personal cheering squad: Zack, Chloe, and Bubbles! You guys are such wonderful avian companions. Your sweet, spunky, joyful characters are refreshing and encouraging. We can feel the love radiating out of those sweet little feathers!
I'd also like to thank Lowes for supplying our home improvement adventures; Pinky, (my laptop - it's a Dell Inspiron) for being a constant and reliable companion over the past nearly two months while I worked on researching and writing he Tenth Dimension, and my Walgreens wrist brace for protecting that wrist from my ambitions.
Now it's time to collapse for a bit and relax before heading back into revisions/edits on my other works in progress during July. Emergence - Book Three of The Earthside Trilogy is ready for first round proofreads to prep for an early 2018 release, and Trigger and Joy on the Journey are ready for revisions.
But today, I rest, and I need it! As they say on video games, these past three months have definitely been achievement unlocked! I had to have been crazy to take all of this on now! Oh well. At least we all know what kind of crazy I am (and am NOT) now.
That's all folks. Take care, and have a wonderful weekend.
Bye!
