Hi folks. I'm writing this blog to let you know that I'm taking a brief break from blogging.
That makes a lot of sense. Leave it to me.
I'm still writing. In fact, that's part of the reason why I'm taking this break. I thought I'd need a break from writing The Sentience Series, but in fact the opposite happened: the rest of it came rushing to me, and I'm hard at work writing the rough draft of Inversion, Book Four of The Sentience Series. It seems I process things best when writing fiction, so that's what I'm going to do right now.
Another reason is that my musings aren't very interesting. Grief sucks. I'm swinging between just being down over Dad's loss to being angry because it seems so unfair. I'm still confused and trying to figure out life day by day. That doesn't make for very interesting blog entries at all. So I'll spare you my circular thinking these days since the actual depth seems to be coming out in fiction right now.
It's alright. As I heard in a commercial recently, "you do you." I'm a scifi writer and, it seems, I process best by writing scifi. And so I will.
No worries, because I'll be back soon. I'm just taking a brief time out from blogging to focus on getting the rest of this book series out of my head and onto my laptop. And getting the rest of my head straight as well.
